Brilliant photos, but also first rate tutorials. I have read a lot of explanations of Luminosity Masks in the last few days, but none of them allowed me to understand both what to do and why I should do it (and so apply Luminosity Masks for my own use). Earth Bound Light gets it exactly right. So thanks very much!

I love your photos. They really inspire me. I found your site randomly while looking for gear, but thank you for such a wonderful useful site.

Bob, this is really a great site. It has really useful tips for photoshop users and photographers. I particularly like that the writing is easy to understand and follow, and the selection of what you write about is also outstanding. Rather than tediously described "cool effects" I will probably never use, you focus on (pardon the pun) improving and maximizing image quality. And it has sparked my interest in your photography, which is, of course beautiful! I have been returning again and again since I found it. Great work!

I'm a regular reader of your Tips and find them very useful even though I don't use Photoshop.

I would like to see something about any editing program but Adobe for once. I don't like any of the PhotoShop programs (I think they are ridiculously overpriced). I am, however, a big proponent of Corels's Paint Shop Pro. From all of the articles on photo editing out there though you would think there were no other programs available but Adobe's PhotoShop. So how about some tips on using my programs?
