Found your site researching another topic and linked it in my beginner photography blog, but failed to come back and read more articles. As a beginner to DSLR I have been having lots of fun but also starting to struggle with the concepts around good composition, so your articles are an excellent resource!

Great article on Digital Editing... I definitely understand why some photographers still have the 'purist' mentality. I agree there is a balance when it comes to altering an image because some things give the image a less than desired look. Once must think about the style he/she is shooting, and edit accordingly if needed. thanks for the good article...

Your story on Tiff byte order explained some very hidden history! Years ago I worked with a group of engineers who used to deliberately mispronounce the names as Big Indian / Little Indian.
