Covering some places that you may know well (I really don't need a guide for Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Peninsula for instance) along with plenty that you probably don't, this is one of those reference books for trip planning that belongs in every nature photographer's library. The included maps lack so much detail as to be mostly useless, but the text and accompanying photos more than make up for it.
