Right-angle Finder for the Nikon D100
As you may know, I am a fan of right-angle viewfinder attachments for low-level shots. Unfortunately, my old Minolta Angle-finder VN won't fit the D100 like it did the F100 (when used with the old Kirk FA-1 adapter that is). Periodically, I've had folks ask me what I use on my D100. Nikon does make the DR-4 right angle finder and with yet another adapter, it will indeed fit the D100.
This time though it's the Nikon part number 2370 (now also known as a DK-22) that is required. With a list price of only $4.25, this has got to be one of the cheapest items that Nikon sells. Unfortunately, it seems to be perpetually out of stock at B&H and other retailers so you have to be both patient and persistent to get one. When you do, get a couple. Being small and plastic, they can easily get lost or broken.
This same setup will work on the F/N80 and other Nikon bodies that utilize rectangular viewfinder accessories.
